Many people who think they suffer from “allergies” may actually be suffering from self-induced exposure to fragrance chemicals from their own laundry detergent, dryer sheets or skin lotions.

I’ve noticed a correlation and I believe there is causation behind it, among people who say they suffer from allergies – in nearly every case. It took me awhile to put this together, to connect the dots, but in nearly every case these same people are wearing a bombshell of toxic fragrance chemicals and they don’t know it. This is the key. They don’t know it. You might be one of these people and you don’t know it. Now I happen to have a very sensitive sense of smell – very sensitive. It actually kind of freaks people out. I can smell their skin lotion across the room for example or their hairspray, their laundry detergent or their fabric softener on their clothes – from across the room. People freak out. They don’t understand how I can detect these things. I like to just joke and say I have a mass spec detector in my nose, so I can detect all this stuff. What I’ve noticed is that a lot of people wear toxic fragrances and they have no idea they are doing so…” Listen to the full podcast below:
